These are some of closures for the Thanksgiving holiday:

* Costa Mesa City Hall is closed today and Friday.

* Newport Beach City Hall and all library branches will be closed

today and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

* Trash pickup will not take place today but will resume Friday.

* Newport-Mesa Unified schools and district offices are closed

today and Friday.

* Costa Mesa Police Department’s front desk will be closed today,

but people can call the business line at (714) 754-5255.

* Newport Beach Police Department’s front desk will also be closed

today . Visitors can still get in the building by calling from a

telephone outside. An officer will come up to the front desk to take

reports.
