Riptide rolls past Extreme

Jordan Conaway netted three goals and the Riptide bagged another Howe
Division victory as they defeated the Extreme, 6-2, in Howe Division
play at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
The other three Riptide goals went to Zachary Jezulin, Brad
Murchison and Evan Sebastian.
Conaway, Scott Sebastian and Eric Jones each had an assist.
Nicholas Jezulin finished with 24 saves.
Craig Landon and Ian Arnold scored for the Extreme and Zachary
Malloy and Tom McConnell each had an assist.
In other games:
Badgers 8, Red Wings 3
The Badgers outscored the Red Wings, 6-1, over the final two
periods to pull away to the victory.
Ryan Gallegos led the Badgers’ attack by posting five goals.
David Johnson, Austin Heinz and Rinald Hancock also scored,
Timothy Tauber had two assists and Johnson, Trevor Evans and Brett
Morinaka each had an assist.
Tov Johnson scored twice, Cameron Nagai scored once and Hunter
Schmidt had an assist for the Red Wings.
Blue Thunder 3, Red Lazers 1
The Blue Thunder scoring was spread among Steve Tomasek, Travis
Morse and Jared Rassler.
Assists went to Kyle Schneider and Andrew Paskil.
For the Red Lazers, Jacob Trani scored off a Nathan Wing assist.
Sharks 10, Thunder 4
A potent Sharks offensive attack was led by Zac Zomaya who scored
three goals and had an assist.
Michael O’Connell tacked on two goals and Corey Jones, William
Alberto, Paul McCurnin, Brandon Jones and Donovan Gonzalez each
scored once.
McCurnin also had a pair of assists and single assists went to
Jones and Zomaya.
Michael Diaz scored twice for the Thunder, Matthew Kibler and
Jacob Gonzales each scored once and Pucky Cruz had an assist.
Diablos 5, Blades 5
Kyle Martins and Luke Loggins each scored twice and Loggins and
Skyler Shook each had an assist for the Diablos.
The Blades received two goals from Tanner Privia and Evan Zinger
and one each from Matt Korn and Adam Scott.
Zinger also picked up an assist.
