* Construction for underground utilities will close the alley between

Third and Glenneyre streets this week, and work on Mermaid and Third

streets will continue with traffic diversions. Fewer parking spots

will be available intermittently during work.

* A street resurfacing project in Arch Beach Heights is underway,

and different streets will be closed through December for the

project.

* Capistrano Avenue, Cortez Avenue from Baja to Miramar streets,

Oro Street, Quivera Street, Acapulco Street and Alisos Avenue will be

closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 14.

* Miramar Street, Noria Street, Ensenada Avenue, Santa Ana Street,

Tia Juana Street and Cortez Avenue from Quivera Street to Balboa

Avenue will be closed during the same hours on Nov. 17.

* La Mirada Street south of Del Mar Avenue, Katella Street,

Fontana, Corona and Duarte ways will be closed on Nov. 18.

* Del Mar Avenue west of Oro Street, La Mirada Street north of Del

Mar Avenue and Baja Street will be closed Nov. 19. Balboa Avenue will

be closed on Nov. 21.

On resurfacing days, a free shuttle service will be provided to

take residents from their homes to their cars and back. To access the
