Vanguard opens season with win
Vanguard University’s men’s basketball team opened its season and the
Westminster tournament with an 82-64 victory over Carroll Thursday in
Salt Lake City.
The Lions, who built an eight-point halftime lead by shooting 60%
in the first half, had four players in double figures in scoring, led
by Brian Kim’s 20 points.
Horace Wormely added 19 points, Kevin Dalafu added 14 points and
Leon Rosborough had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Vanguard (1-0) continues tournament play today against tournament
host Westminster.
