CenterLine meeting set for next month
The Orange County Transportation Authority will host an open house
and public hearing in Costa Mesa on Nov. 12. The event will let the
public know about environmental studies on four options for the
CenterLine light-rail project.
By the end of the year, the authority’s board of directors is
expected to select a preferred starting route for CenterLine and the
public input received through these hearing will be used during the
discussion.
At the meeting, attendees will be able to learn about the progress
of the light rail project and ask questions. The current route calls
for CenterLine to run 8.5 miles from John Wayne Airport to the train
station in Santa Ana.
The open house will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at
the Costa Mesa Hilton, 3050 Bristol St. For more information, call
(714) 560-5598.
