Eatery celebrating 20 years with charity
Newport Rib Company in Costa Mesa and Naples Rib Company in Long
Beach are hosting 20 Days of Charity, a fund-raising event to thank
their communities for 20 years of loyal support.
The Ursini family, which owns both restaurants, is recognizing 20
years of serving their communities with a program to benefit 20
charitable organizations in Newport-Mesa and 20 in Long Beach or Seal
Beach.
Until Oct. 31, the restaurants will donate 20% of each dinner
receipt to one of 20 charities selected by each dining party. At the
end of each meal, patrons will be presented a 20 Days of Charity
Card, which lists each charity and how it supports its community.
Diners will be asked to select which group they would like to
support, and each charity will receive the accumulated total at the
end of the event.
The event began Oct. 12. Closing ceremonies with check
presentations will be held at the Newport Rib Company at 6 p.m. Nov.
