Registration for Pacific Coast Fastpitch Softball this week

Open registration for the 2004 spring season of the Pacific Coast

Girls Fastpitch Softball League will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on

Wednesday at Bonita Creek Park in Newport Beach.

Girls ages 5 to 14 from Newport Beach, Corona del Mar and Costa

Mesa are encouraged to register.

Team practices will begin in February with games starting later

that month or early March.

First-time registrants are required to bring a copy of their birth

certificate.

The park is located at the corner of University Drive and La Vida.
