The Costa Mesa Jr. Pee Wee Black Mustangs extended their unbeaten
season with their fifth consecutive win, a 34-0 triumph over the
Montebello Sharks in Pop Warner football action on Oct. 11.
Parker Norton ran the opening kickoff 70 yards for the first of
his two touchdowns. The Mustangs have returned the opening kickoff
for a touchdown in three of their five games. Norton’s other TD came
on a 55-yard counter. He also added his third interception of the
year.

sweep and also played well on defense.

10-yard run. Gilbert usually plays on the offensive line.
Michael Taormina, who usually plays quarterback, added the final
score on a 35-yard run.

held the Sharks to 29 yards of total offense. Jack Jeffries, Graeme
Fraser (kicked three extra points), Zach Porteous, Buzzy Yokoyama,
