Purple beats Green

Kristopher Picarelli scored two goals to lead the Purple Panthers to

a 4-2 victory over the Green Gang in boys under-10 AYSO Region 57

soccer action Oct. 4.

Cort Hastings added a goal and an assist while Taylor Epp also

scored for the Panthers.

Nicholas Storm was strong on offense while Alex Harnen and Alex

Murray anchored the defense.

Paul MacCabe made several saves in goal with Matthew Francini and

Tommy Bubonic each scoring once for the Green Gang.

In girls under-8 action:

* Atomic Fireballs 6, Shining Stars 2:

Noelle Gooding, Savannah Taylor, Paige Larsh, Isabella Hill and

Chloe Kuhen each scored goals for the Fireballs in the win.

Katie Curci and Amelia Anderson led the defense with Maddie Roth

and Shannon Gair creating several scoring chances.
