Gary and Marlen Virkus of Napa announce the engagement of their

daughter Amy Kristin Virkus of Napa to Timothy Alan Goode of Newport

Beach.

The bride-elect graduated from Vintage High School and San Diego

State University.

The future bridegroom, son of Alan and Beverly Goode of Newport

Beach, graduated from Corona del Mar and San Diego State University.

An Oct. 25 wedding is planned a St. Mark Presbyterian Church in

Newport Beach.

Daniel-Doane

Kristin Ann Daniel and Blair Benjamin Doan, both of Newport Beach,

exchanged vows at Corona del Mar Congregational Church on May 17,

2003.

The bride is the daughter of Barry and Roberta Daniel of Balboa

Island. She wore a strapless white satin, full skirt with a pale blue

sash. The maid of honor was Kelly Daniel. The bridesmaids were

Jennifer Rubardt, Dana McDonald and Courtney Wells.

The bridegroom is the son of Philip and Toni Doane of Balboa. The

best man was Matt Stuart. The ushers were Brad Doane, Tim Doane and

Trevor Chabinsky.

The reception took place at the Doan residence in Balboa with 115

guest in attendance. The couple spent its honeymoon in Bora Bora. The

two plan to live in Irvine. The bride works at St. John Knits. The

groom works at Safeguard Business Systems.
