Softball clinic Saturday

The Coach McGuff Girls Softball Clinic will come to the South

Huntington Beach Girls Fastpitch Softball fields on Oct. 12.

The clinic is run by DeeAndra McGuff, an All-American at Cal

Lutheran College who has 17 years experience in private instruction

ranging from players 6-and-younger to the collegiate level.

The clinic, which will run between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and is open

to youngsters ages 7 to 18, is designed to instruct participants in

all aspects of softball. Those participating in the clinic are asked

to bring their own softball gear.

Junior basketball registration Saturday

National Junior Basketball will hold a registration session on

Saturday for NJB Huntington Beach East at Ocean View High School.

Registration will be taken from 9 a.m. to noon at the Ocean View

gymnasium.
