Revolving door at Triangle Square
Triangle Square, the often-maligned Costa Mesa shopping center,
gave critics a new piece of news to criticize last week.
Mary Korkodian replaced Stephanie Demartinis as the operations
manager for Triangle Square. Korkodian will be responsible for the
daily operations of the center as well as coordinating and hosting
events and attractions to entice shoppers to visit the center.
* On Wednesday, Wingnuts Restaurant honored female pioneers in
aviation -- the Southern California group of Women Air Force Service
Pilots of World War II. The pilots, who were not allowed to fly
overseas, flew various missions domestically, including aerial
gunnery practice and chemical and smoke-disbursing flights. Wingnuts
will display pictures of the female pilots from their aviation days.
