Kings put out Fire

Tyler Bales posted three goals and had one assist and the Kings
notched another victory in Wales Division play by shutting down Team
Fire, 6-1, at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Chad Millar, David Daley and Chad Morris each scored once, Carsten
Beith had a pair of assists and Christian Beith and Nigel Carter each
had one assist to complete the Kings’ offense.
Kelan Stuart got the victory on 35 saves.
Team Fire avoided a shutout when Robert Oliver scored an
unassisted goal in the third period.
Timothy Francis came up with 36 saves.
In other games:
Spiders 7, Young Americans 3
Ryan Morse and Jimmy Hocker each scored twice as the Spiders
downed the Young Americans.
Also getting into the scoring act for the Spiders were Kyle Kelly,
Mo Alasker and Joey Mahoney.
Alasker led the team in assists with three, Hocker finished with
two and Eric Freese had one.
Ethan Berg finished with 30 saves.
Cameron Marino scored two goals to lead the Young Americans.
Kyle Fiscus and Damian Raburn each had an assist and Jacob Renaud
had 37 saves.
Wings 6, Vipers 4
Alex Litten’s three goals paved the way for the Wings.
Kyle Betz, Cooper Watson and Dean Neugebauer also scored, Brandon
Mohl picked up three assists and Charlie Condron and Skyler Matas
each had one assist.
Rory Folsom had 33 saves.
The Vipers’ scoring was spread among Ali Plummer, Kevin Ewing,
Drew Bertoni and Hayden Garcia.
Bertoni, Plummer, Richard Rodeback and Nelson Kays each had an
assist.
Matthew Duran recorded 28 saves.
Roller Dogs 6, Mighty Midgets 3
Kevin Christi and Stephanie McKnight each netted two goals to pace
the Roller Dogs.
Each also had one assist.
Goals by Tyler Bertrand and Hunter Nelson completed the scoring,
Bertrand and Evan Sebastian each had an assist and Bryan Paranal
finished with 28 saves.
For the Mighty Midgets, Kyle McGeary scored twice, Luke Hamagiwa
scored once, Kevin Cant had two assists, Nathan Bergeron had an
assist and Kenny Hutchinson recorded 40 saves.
