Aulnay Lane: A man reported that a vehicle he believes to be stolen
was parked next to his house in the 15600 block at 11:19 a.m.
Saturday.
Beach Boulevard: A suspicious man was reported was talking to
himself and yelling at people walking in the parking lot in the 19600
block at 4:28 p.m. Sunday.
Delaware Street: A resident reported that someone threw a block or
a brick at the front door in the 2200 block at 5:01 a.m. Friday.
Eastport Drive: A man reported that his girlfriend had been
assaulted by the neighbor in the 8100 block at 8:13 p.m. Sunday.
Edinger Avenue: A balding man about 50 years old was reported
walking around in his underwear in the 7200 block at 5:49 p.m.
Saturday.
Hayes Circle: A woman reported that the neighbor’s dog was barking
and she heard something in her backyard in the 8200 block at 3:17
a.m. Saturday.
Heil Avenue: Graffiti vandalism was reported in the 5200 block at
8:33 a.m. Saturday.
Kellog Circle: A resident reported that the apartment manager just
attacked a man, punching him in the chest, in the 16500 block at 2:08
p.m. Sunday.
Koledo Lane: A vehicle theft was reported in the 17300 block at
8:43 a.m. Sunday.
Monterey Lane: Burglary of $1,200 cash was reported in the 16200
block at 9:43 a.m. Sunday.
Pacific Coast Highway and Beach Boulevard: Road rage was reported
at 11:14 p.m. Saturday.
Pacific Coast Highway and Brookhurst Street: Several people were
reported drinking and throwing beer bottles at passing vehicles at
2:58 p.m. Sunday.
Pacific Coast Highway and Warner Avenue: A woman was reported
walking in the middle of the road and waving her arms at 3:25 a.m.
Saturday.
Pine Street and Utica Avenue: A suspicious man was reported,
walking in the alley and wearing only boxers at 8:24 a.m. Sunday.
Pinehurst Lane: Petty theft was reported when two pairs of
underwear and a bra were missing from the laundry in the 17000 block
at 1:32 p.m. Friday.
Plymouth Lane: A woman reported a hole in her window which she
thinks was made with a bullet in the 15900 block at 2:49 p.m. Sunday.
Saybrook Lane: Grand theft was reported when two large plants were
stolen, valued at $300 each in the 16400 block at 11:49 a.m. Friday.
Scenic Bay Lane: A resident reported that two vehicles were
sprayed with a fire extinguisher and two weeks ago a neighbor’s
window had been shot with a BB gun in the 19800 block at 12:48 p.m.
Sunday.
Scenic Bay Lane: A resident reported that the windows on two
vehicles had been broken and four other cars had been vandalized
during the week in the 19800 block at 12:41 p.m. Sunday.
Shoreline Drive: Vandalism in the laundry room was reported in the
19100 block at 12:43 p.m. Sunday.
Sisson Drive: Two men were reportedly looking into vehicles in the
5100 block at 11:06 p.m. Saturday.
Susan Lane: A resident reported a continual problem with a
homeless man who sleeps on the front lawn in the 22000 block at 7:04
a.m. Saturday.
Veladare Circle: A man reported that he saw his neighbor kicking
his hedges and breaking them in the 19800 block at 3:08 p.m.
Saturday.
Walnut Avenue and 14th Street: Cruelty to animals was reported
when two dogs were locked on the balcony in the sun at 10:54 a.m.
Saturday.
Warner Avenue: Vandalism to a vehicle was reported after the
emblem on the hood of a Porsche was removed overnight in the 4100
block at 7:12 a.m. Friday.
Warner Avenue: A man reported that he used his credit card and the
clerk put it in his pocket and would not give it back in the 6800
block at 1:34 p.m. Friday.
Warner Avenue: Forgery was reported when a man was trying to draw
money with a check from a closed account and was using a false
identification in the 7400 block at 6:36 p.m. Friday.
8th Street: A woman reported that the screen to her bedroom had
been removed and a lot of items were out of place in the 200 block at
8:11 p.m. Sunday.
