The Friday Nite Funtime
Dance for developmentally disabled teens and adults will be held
at the Edison Community Center. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the dance
ends at 9:30 p.m. Fee is $1 per person.
SATURDAY
Huntington Beach-based clothing and accessory manufacturer UHF is
looking for sponsors for its first underground fashion show at the
Inka Grill in Huntington Beach. The show hopes to attract fashion
designers and manufacturers who want to display their wares

Pete’s authentic “Dance for
the Waves” Luau includes a lei and shell greeting, Polynesian
buffet open bar, official tiki torch lighting ceremony, hula lessons,
prizes and raffles, Hawaiian shirt contest, music of old Hawaii and a
Polynesian dance show. The luau is at Pete Mallory’s Surf City Sunset
Grille at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa every
Saturday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Adults are $60 per person, seniors $50,
under 21 $35, ages 6 to 10 are $25 and ages 5 and under are free.

A bake sale and used book
drive to benefit the Huntington Beach Main Street Branch Library
will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go

Meet will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Nature Center will open the nature center for birding, walking and
