Roller Dogs outlast Ducks in 3-2 match

Brandon Sizemore’s unassisted goal in the third period of play

spelled the difference for the Roller Dogs, who went on to claim a

3-2 victory over the Ducks in Adams Division play at Coast 2 Coast

Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Other Roller Dogs goals went to Jacob Pope and Kobie Pekich.

Makaela Olin and Cody Sizemore each had assists.

Jason Drechsel collected 28 saves.

Blake Rivera scored both Ducks goals, Brent Rivera had an assist,

and Derek Loh had 36 saves.

Stingrays 3, Jr. Kings 2

Kevin Baumann, Scott Hetrick and Daniel Salazar each scored

unassisted goals for the Stingrays.

Ryan Humphrey had 12 saves.

Stephen Goodman and Nick Hoskins scored for the Jr. Kings.

Wings 3, Wolf Pack 2

Goals by Kayden Muzila and Will Shepherd in the third period

lifted the Wings past the Wolf Pack.

Muzila scored two goals overall. Jake Grothjan had an assist.

Ryan Voorhies got the win on 10 saves.

Cole Greif and Tyler Carnival scored and Matthew Bennett had a

pair of assists to lead the Wolf Pack.

David Mastro finished with 18 saves.

Rockets 5, X-Men 3

Scott Webb and Kyle Kowalski each scored two goals to pace the

Rockets.

Blake Rivera scored once. Summer Young chipped in two assists,

Andrew Corral had one, and Lauren Kilroy had 12 saves.

For the X-Men, Trevor Murphy scored twice, Slater Ott had a goal

and assist, and Neal Macpherson had 17 saves.

Flames 6, Ducks 3

Dylan Zeglovitch’s three goals paced a Flames attack that saw

Joshua Kliger score twice and Jason Drechsel score once.

Drechsel led the Flames in assists with three, and Zeglovitch and

James Keithahn each had one.

Nick Edwards recorded 18 saves.

Michael Pigors scored all three Ducks goals, and Nathan Wing

finished with 17 saves.
