Allison Jean Foster of Costa Mesa and Todd Allen Shaw of Costa
Mesa will exchange wedding vows on July 26 at St. John Vianney Chapel
on Balboa Island.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard W. Foster Jr. of Costa
Mesa, will wear a white satin strapless gown with a shoulder-length
trimmed satin veil. Her maid of honor is Teresa Manning and her
bridesmaids are Nicole Collier, Kate Foster and Stephanie Castro.
The bridegroom is the son of Sandra Shaw of Palm Springs. His best
man is Todd Sheets, and his groomsmen are Justin Foster and
Christopher Foster.
The bride graduated from Cal State Fullerton and received her
teaching credential from UC Irvine. She is an elementary school
teacher in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District.
The groom graduated from San Diego State and owns a computer
business in Huntington Beach.
After the ceremony, a reception with 60 guests will be held at the
Newport Beach Country Club.
The couple plans to reside in Costa Mesa, after a wedding trip to
Napa Valley.
Moore-Alvarado
Roger and Karen Moore of Newport Beach announce the engagement of
their daughter, Alden Julia Moore of Irvine, to Damien Isaias
Alvarado of Irvine.
The bride-elect graduated from Newport Harbor High School and UC
Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s in history. She is enrolled in the
Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.
The future bridegroom, son of Cesar and Patty Alvarado of Costa
Mesa, graduated from Newport Harbor High School and Cal Poly San Luis
Obispo with a bachelor’s in computer engineering.
An Aug. 23 wedding is planned on the Phoenix in Newport Harbor.
