SCHOOLPOWER

Raises money to encourage parent participation in education of

children and to support professional development of teachers in the

area. Formed in 1981, SchoolPower continues to help provide resources

for quality education in Laguna Beach. The group has public meetings

at 7 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at United Methodist

Church.

SURFRIDER FOUNDATION

Dedicated to the protection of the coastal environment. To become

a member, call Rick Wilson at (949) 631-6273. This month’s public

meeting takes place at 7 p.m. March 26 in Wells Fargo Bank at 220

Ocean Ave.
