A TASTY WAY TO HELP

South Coast Plaza will host an incredible summer Food and Wine

Festival today from 6 to 9 p.m. The 11th annual event raises funds

for Orange County’s needy by supporting the Second Harvest Food Bank

of Orange County and Someone Cares Soup Kitchen. Each $40 ticket will

buy more than 1,000 meals or feed a family of four for three months.

An expected 1,500 guests will enjoy culinary specialties from South

Coast Plaza restaurants. They’ll also enjoy premium wines, microbrews

A’Maree’s much anticipated summer sale starts Saturday. The store

PLEIN TO SEE

A plein air art exhibit is shown through July 11 at the Robert Mondavi Food and Wine Center in Costa Mesa. More than 100 paintings

will be presented by the Southern California Plein Air Painters Assn.
