medicine -- where money, politics, and sex clash in the hope of

finding a cure. Tickets are available at this professional theater

Playhouse is at 606 Laguna Canyon Road.

ANTIQUE SPECIALIST

Richard Yeakel Antiques attracts serious antique and art

collectors. Most clients have second homes and depend on Yeakel for

his extensive knowledge of antiques and their unique qualities.

Yeakel is a purist. He doesn’t like things refinished or replaced.

French, Spanish, German, English and American pieces from the 14th to

the 18th centuries are Yeakel’s specialty. The most beautiful Spanish

Colonial pieces are the hardest to come by.

“People flow towards them,” says Danny Gurule a sales person here.

Rare items include an 18th century Welsh bookcase, 17th century

French provincial tapestry, French Regance pieces, 19th century

French painted doors with original hardware, German Gothic Madonna

and Child, 18th century Marcel plates, and 17th century chinoiserie

chest of drawers. Seen in the store, Clint Eastwood, Kelly Harmon and

Jaclyn Smith. Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and by

appointment at 1099 S. Coast Highway. Information: (949) 494-5526
