‘THE SECRET ORDER’
Laguna Playhouse is showing the West Coast premier of Bob Clyman’s
“The Secret Order.” It’s a play about what happens when an obscure
cancer researcher achieves a breakthrough and is whisked into the
hidden world of high stakes medicine. Tickets are $27 to $49 and it

The California Choreographers Dance Festival is having there 2nd
annual “Dance Day and Choreography Showcase featuring a day of dance
with master classes followed by performances by cutting edge
choreographers. It will feature a new work by Company Chaddick,

THE EARLY 1900s
“Greetings from Laguna Beach: Our Town in the Early 1900s” just
opened at the Laguna Art Museum and will feature paintings,
photographs and memorabilia that chronicle life in Laguna Beach circa
1900 to 1930. The exhibit includes works by William Wendt, Joseph
Kleitsch, Clarence Hinkle, Edgar Payne and Anna Hills. In 1910,
Laguna’s population was around 300 and many of its residents were
writers, artists and musicians -- much like today. Featuring many of
Laguna Beach’s landmarks, past and present, it’s a vivid history of

AT WHITNEY GALLERY

JUNE 27
The Art-A-Fair Festival will run June 27 through Aug. 31. It’s at
777 Laguna Canyon Road. Season pass for adults is $5, children under
12 free with adult; senior discounts are available. It’s open Sunday
through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday to Saturday 10
a.m. to 10 p.m. Visitors are offered the opportunity to view and
acquire art directly from the artist exhibitors. There will be

The Sawdust Art Festival will be June 27 through Aug. 31 opens
June 27. The festival will have more than 195 local artists
displaying and selling their original items in a handcrafted village
nestled in an eucalyptus grove. Live entertainment. Art workshops and

Laguna Canyon Road. Tickets are: adults $6.50, seniors $5.50,

Marion Meyer Contemporary Art is having the exhibit
“Menage-a-trois,” an exhibition featuring an intimate union of three
styles and aesthetic liaison among Georges Monfils, Paula Schoen and
