John Jory downs Laguna Batting Cages

James Yorke and Cole Kessler each came up with two hits to lead John

Jory to a 9-4 victory over Laguna Batting Cages in a Laguna Little

League AA Division contest.

In addition to their two-hit performances, Yorke and Kessler each

pitched two innings.

Calvin Garmshauson, A.J. Kelly, Rex Kelly and Jackson Yamasaki

each contributed hits to the John Jory offense.

Nicki Brunner, Ryan Cavanaugh, Brandon Heath, Dylan Payne, Spencer

Anderson and Ryan Ames keyed the defense.

Garret Burk had two hits and also pitched two innings for Laguna

Batting Cages.

Tristan Bland and Jon-David Horne each singled and Blair Hanson

gave up two hits during his time on the mound for the Cages.

In other AA play:

Oysters 5, Laguna Bats 1

A five-run third inning outburst lifted the Oysters to victory.

The hitting of Morgan Lebby and Preston Grand Pre keyed the

Oysters’ attack.

The teams battled to a scoreless tie through the first two innings

as Oysters’ pitcher Bryan Ludloff and Laguna Bats’ hurler Garrett

Burk each struck out five.

Ren Kramer scored the lone Laguna Bats run in the sixth inning.
