The Sage Hill School baseball team allowed eight runs in the first
inning and could not rally back, falling, 12-6, to nonleague visitor
Army Navy Academy Thursday.
Sage Hill sophomore Matt Loper went 2 for 4 and earned two RBIs,
while senior Zack Friedrichs smacked a double and contributed one RBI
and one run scored.
Sophomore David Packard gave the Lightning some needed relief with
5 1/3 innings of work, allowing Sage Hill to prepare its starters for
league action, which starts today.
