Newport Harbor trio among first-team selections

* BOYS SOCCER: Newport Harbor High juniors Joel Walker and Matt

Tracy, as well as senior teammate Mark Spears, have been named

first-team All-Sea View League by the circuit’s boys soccer coaches.

Newport Harbor senior Jose Serpas and junior Chase Kelly represent

the Sailors on the second team.

Walker and Tracy were second-team choices last season, while

Serpas was a first-team honoree as a junior.

The Sailors finished second in league behind Woodbridge and

advanced to the CIF Southern Section Division II Playoffs.

Eric Ebert, who led the Woodbridge Warriors to the team title, as

well as a CIF Division II co-championship, is the Player of the Year.
