French Label For Your Home is a new home accessories store that
opened in the Affordable Consignment location on Coast Highway. There
are French accents for the home, shabby chic style furnishings and
some antiques. Choose from tablecloths, white distressed furniture,
cachepots, candles and jewelry. The owners have planned buying trips
to France for the summer, until then all furnishings are American.
Prices are extremely reasonable. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday
through Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at 1141 N. Coast Highway.

HIDDEN MUSIC TREASURES
Without a sign out front it’s easy to miss Underdog Records, but
if you’re looking for collectible albums, especially punk rock, this
is the place to go. For the past 10 years, owner, Michael Lohrman has
supplied Laguna with the only place to buy and sell vinyl records.
There are thousands of albums to choose from. Collectible albums
include Public Image Limited, Iggy Pop, The Cure, The Clash, The Sex
Pistols, MC5 and Johnny Thunder. Other merchandise includes CDs,
badges, shirts and videos. Open noon to 8 p.m. daily at 812 S. Coast

WINTER MERCHANDISE SALE
Big Dog Sportswear is having a sale on all winter merchandise
reduced 50%. The selection includes long sleeve shirts and pants in
adult, Bigs and children sizes. The sale items can’t be combined with
the buy one, get one free promotion. Hard-to-find sizes include 1x to
5x for men and women. Big Dogs is known for their trademark t-shirts
of humorous dog-theme movies and sports, and for their huge boxer
selection. Summer merchandise includes board shorts, Hawaiian prints,

FRENCH MILLET DOLLS
Pacific Gallery Fine Art and Design sells French poupee millet
dolls which are hand-made stuffed soft sculptures. The collectible
dolls are made with decorative theme hats: shopping, travel, music,
ostrich feathers, shoes and purse. Owners Tony Loviscek and Steve
Hough say that customers buy them for humorous, unusual gifts. Dolls
range in price from $69 to $400. Everything here is handmade and
one-of-a-kind. Also available, wooden art sculptures, aluminum
sculptures, ceramic animals, teapots, coffee cups and vases. Open 10
