Sts. Simon and St Jude Parish Music Ministry will hold its sixth
annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Dance and Pot o’Gold Casino. The
evening’s entertainment will include a corned beef dinner, dancing to
the DJ Connection and a casino. Doors at Coleman Hall will open at 6
p.m., dinner will be served from 6:30 to 9 p.m., the casino will be
open from 7 to 11 p.m. and dancing will be from 7.30 to 11.30 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and include dinner, dancing and $100 in casino

The third annual Huntington Beachcruiser Meet will be held on Main
Street at Pacific Coast Highway at Pier Plaza. Three blocks of
Downtown Main Street will be closed to non-participating vehicles
until 4 p.m. The event is free to the public. All pre-1968 “beach
cruisin’” vehicles are welcome. Vehicle registration is $20 in
advance and includes an event T-shirt. There will be trophies in many
classes for both stock and modified plus one for the Mayor’s Choice.
Also, the Longboard Collectors Club will have an extensive collection
of old, unusual and valuable vintage surfboards on display. The event
is sponsored in part by local merchants and businesses and both
Huntington Beach and Edison High Schools benefit from the proceeds.
