The Corona del Mar High boys tennis team blanked Back Bay rival
Newport Harbor, 18-0, in a nonleague match Tuesday at Newport Harbor.
CdM sophomore Spencer Reitz rallied to force a pair of singles
tiebreakers and won them both to help the Sea Kings (3-0) dominate.
CdM’s Wesley Miller combined with Issei Saida to win three sets,
then filled in for Carsten Ball to top the Tars’ No. 1 singles
player, 7-5.
