NO SQUARE THEATRE YOUTH PRODUCTION

No Square Theatre will hold its annual youth production with

Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” The performances are today

and Saturday at 7 p.m., March 15 at 7 p.m. and March 16 at 3 p.m. at

the Festival Forum Theatre on the Festival of Arts grounds at 650

Laguna Canyon Road. Tickets are $25 for premiere seating in the first

ANIMATION ARTIST RECEPTION

Laguna College of Art and Design is featuring the exhibit “From

concept to Realization: A Retrospective of Carol Keiffer Police,”

showing her original artwork and multimedia. Today at 6:30 p.m. there

will be an artist reception. Police is a visual development artist

and animation director who works extensively with Disney and has

worked on “Shrek,” the animated feature “Lord of the Rings,” “Quest

for Camelot,” and is currently working on “Bambi and the Great

Prince,” and forming her own animation company. It’s a free exhibit

that runs through March 18 at the Ettinger Gallery at the college

ACTOR LESLIE JORDAN

Actor Leslie Jordan of the film “Sordid Lives” and also seen

LAGUNA WOMEN ARTISTS

The Women’s Club of Laguna Beach at 286 St. Ann’s Drive will hold

its second annual Laguna Beach Women’s Artist Event from 3 to 6 p.m.

today. Artists will display their art, which will also be for sale.

The money raised will primarily go to Laguna Outreach Community Arts,

which is a local arts organization that serves the community by

LEONARD KAPLAN EXHIBIT AT LAGUNA ART MUSEUM

“Waking Dreams: The Art of Leonard Kaplan,” will open today and

run through July 6. The exhibit will include surrealistic drawings

‘LOVERS OF VERSAILLES’

Laguna Playhouse is presenting the U.S. premiere of the

bittersweet comedy, “Lovers of Versailles” by playwright Bernard
