Marina sends three to All-Star game
Three players and one coach from the Marina High boys’ soccer team
have been selected to participate in the 2003 Senior All-Star Soccer
Game.
The annual match, now in its 27th year, will be played Sunday at
noon at Loyola Marymount University.
The three Vikings playing in the match are Anthony Ordonez, J.T.
Searles and Josh Valerio.
Marina head coach Jeff Schofield was selected to be part of the
coaching staff.
The All-Star game will cap a busy week for Marina.
The Vikings played Santa Margarita Tuesday in a CIF Southern
Section Division I semifinal match. A victory in that game would send
them into Saturday’s division title match.
