Rattlers blank Hornets, 5-0

Daniel Ane posted 24 saves and the Rattlers defense shut down the
Hornets, winning this Smythe Division battle, 5-0, Monday at Coast 2
Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
The Rattlers blew the match open with a three-goal second period,
getting scores from Michael Marquette and Jake and Conner Richard.
Jake and Conner Richard shared game-high scoring honors with two
goals apiece.
Conner Richard also led the team with two assists and Jake Richard
picked up one.
In other games:
Slapshots 3, Red Lazers 0
Cody Nunes came up with 17 saves as the Slapshots recorded the
division’s other shutout victory.
Scott Cassidy scored twice with an assist and Elijah McHenry
scored once with an assist for the winners.
Sean Wing had 25 saves for the Red Lazers.
Chiefs 6, Blades 1
Six players scored for the Chiefs as single goals went to Matt
Korn, Conor Murphy, Kevin Gast, Jeffrey Wong, Ian Berrier and Julien
Laux.
Laux, Korn and Jordan Sanders each had an assist.
Charles Condron finished with 20 saves.
Tanner Privia scored an unassisted goal for the Blades.
The Rockets 8, River Rats 2
Cameron Berkenkamp led The Rockets with three goals and three
assists and Marcus Kurth netted three goals with a pair of assists.
The rest of The Rockets’ scoring consisted of goals by Trevor
Evans and Grant Murchison and an assist by Nick Evans.
Brad Murchison had 18 saves.
Tyler O’Donnell scored both River Rats goals.
Booyahs 6, Flames 5
Zac Zomaya and Zachary Peterson each scored twice with an assist
as the Booyahs held off the Flames.
Nick Hansen and Zachary Malloy also scored and Joel Dapello had an
assist.
Zack Porter came up with 24 saves.
Cameron Nagai and Luke Loggins each scored twice, Brandon Jones
scored once and Loggins and Gregory Hancock each had an assist for
the Flames.
Hunter Nelson also had 24 saves.
