T-Ball signups continue

T-ball signups for Laguna Beach Little League are still open to

interested players living within the league’s boundaries.

Signups continue through March 2 at the Coffee Pub at 384 Forest

Ave., next to the post office and Sports World, 290 Broadway.

The division is open to all Laguna Beach and Crystal Cove boys and

girls ages 5 and 6 as of July 31, 2003.

All division games, to be played a the Lang Park T-ball field, are

noncompetitive with an emphasis on fun for all, said T-ball

Commissioner, Cameron Fraser.

“We at Laguna Beach Little League want every 5- or 6-year-old boy

and girls to have the opportunity to be on a T-ball team,” Fraser

said.

Hoops registration continues

Registration for girls in grades first through eighth for the

Girls’ Basketball League continues at the Boys and Girls Club of

Laguna Beach.

All players are required to go through an evaluation process in

order to play in the league.

Practice begins March 17. The season gets underway on April 7.

Practices and games will be held at the club, 1085 Laguna Canyon

Road.
