Orange Coast women put Golden West away

Orange Coast College’s women’s basketball team improved to 25-5, 10-2

in the Orange Empire Conference with a 60-50 victory over host Golden

West.

Liz Mendoza (19 points) and Alisa Carrillo (18 points) were the

ringleaders for the Pirates. Carrillo hit 8 of 10 attempts from the

field.

Golden West fell to 10-16, 1-11.
