Cutco goes offensive in 13-3 victory

Ten players broke into the scoring column for Cutco last weekend, and
it was Tyler Olsen’s three goals that led the way in a 13-3 rout of
the Vipers in Wales Division play at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey
Center in Huntington Beach.
Cutco blew open a one-goal game by outscoring the Vipers, 10-1, in
the final two periods.
Aaron Nguyen and Kyle McGeary each scored twice, and single goals
were made by Chase Selby, Sean Wing, Griffen Gurzi, Bryan Van Arsdale
and Dylan Caldeira.
Van Arsdale led the team in assists, with four, and McGeary had
two.
Keeper Kenny Hutchinson recorded 25 saves.
The Vipers received goals from Jake Galaviz, Eric Uttecht and
Lewis Gifford, and Max Hassenpflug and Brett Hayward each had an
assist.
In other games:
Dirt Jr. 6, Spiders 2
David Loy and Luke Gane each picked up two goals to lead Dirt Jr.
Other goals were scored by Ryan Morse and Matthew Chisum, and
Brandon Weiss had an assist.
Kevin Kraus had 27 saves.
For the Spiders, Trevor McCourt and Jimmy Hocker both scored
unassisted goals.
Hawks 7, Razorbacks 3
Ryan Daley’s three goals paved the way for the Hawks.
Nigel Carter, Bryan Bennett, Chase Holzhauer and Kevin Hetrick
each had one goal. Nathan Bergeron had two assists, and Aly Zappen
had one assist.
Amy Zappen got the win in net with 17 saves.
Tyler Bales, Joshua Mockridge and Justin French all scored, Eli
Morejon had a pair of assists, and Kelan Stuart finished with 32
saves for the Razorbacks.
Roller Rebels 6, Red Wings 3
Bryan Paranal posted three consecutive goals as the Roller Rebels
doubled up on the Red Wings.
Travis Miller and Joseph Robertson each had a goal and assist,
Stephanie McKnight recorded a pair of assists, Cody Charnell scored
once, and Matthew Duran finished with 17 saves.
Greg Weaver scored once with an assist, Timothy Hunt and Matt
Grijalva each had one goal, Tom Moore had an assist, and Michael
Mowrey had 32 saves for the Red Wings.
