Toshiba Computer Systems, the title sponsor of the PGA Champions
Tour in the area since 1995, has signed a three-year extension with
the PGA Tour and its managing charity, Rod Keller of Toshiba said
Tuesday at a news conference at Newport Beach Country Club.
Hoag Hospital has been the tournament manager and lead charity for
five years and has raised over $4.7 million for the Toshiba Senior
Classic, which will be played for the ninth time March 17-23.
Toshiba’s new contract extends through the 2006 event. The Champions
