The Costa Mesa chapter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer
Foundation will host its fourth annual family night Feb. 21 at the
Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim. Komen supporters, friends and family are
invited to enjoy reserved seating on the Terrace Concourse for $19.50
to watch the Anaheim Mighty Ducks take on the New York Rangers.
The Komen Foundation will receive $6 of every ticket sold to
support breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment in
Orange County.
The action on “free hat night” begins at 7:30 p.m.
The event raises awareness for Komen’s major fund raiser -- the
Race for the Cure -- which will be held Sept. 28 at Fashion Island at
Newport Beach.
The foundation will also hold its third annual Links to the Cure
golf tournament May 5 in Fullerton.
Reservations are required for the hockey game and can be made by
calling (714) 940-2816. Learn more about the Komen Foundation by
