Santa Margarita (4-3-1) tied it in the 48th minute on an Amy
Rodriguez goal, and seven minutes later got the winner as Cari
Egertson scored.
Junior Kara DeMille had six saves for the Sailors.
The loss drops Newport to 0-5-1.

The Sea Kings are off until Dec. 26, when they battle Saddleback
in the Trabuco Hills Tournament.
