TRIPLE TREAT
The interfaith Christmas-Hanukkah- Ramadan-Eid Celebration will be
held from 4:45 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints, 2150 Bonita Canyon Road, Newport Beach. The
program will include Muslim evening prayers, an interfaith program
discussing holiday traditions and an international dinner.
Participating religious leaders are Father Will Crist, Episcopalian;
Rabbi Richard Steinberg; and Sheikh Sadullah Kahn. $15 in advance,

‘A MOMENT IN TIME’
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church will present “A Moment in Time”
at 4 and 7 p.m. Sunday. The Christmas presentation will feature
performances by the church’s 100-voice Sanctuary Choir and a 40-piece
orchestra. The church is at 600 St. Andrews Road, Newport Beach. $8.

BONITA CANYON CONCERT
“A Christmas Overture” will be performed at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Sunday as part of the Bonita Canyon Concert Series. The show, which
will include a hand bell choir and a 16-piece symphonic ensemble,
will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2150

ADVENT SCHEDULE
St. Michael and All Angels Church will hold a Christmas Party at
11 a.m. Sunday with a light lunch, tree decorating and gifts for the
children. On Dec. 24, the church will hold a Children’s Christmas
Pageant at 5 p.m. in All Angels’ Court; Holy Eucharist and homily
will be held and the children’s choir will sing at 5:30 p.m.; the
church will hold the “Gift of Music” at 10:30 p.m.; the church will
hold the festival choral Christmas Eve Eucharist at 11 p.m. A
Christmas Day celebration will be held at 10 a.m. St. Michael’s is at

‘CHRISTMAS IN KILLARNEY’
The children of St. John the Divine Episcopal Church will join
members of the Hunger Artists Theatre Company at 6 p.m. Dec. 22 and
23 for “Christmas in Killarney,” an original play. Admission is free,
but donations will be accepted to benefit the Community Service
Program of Santa Ana, which offers support to domestic violence
