Bucs in 60-53 triumph over Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA -- Orange Coast College’s women’s basketball team

was a 60-53 nonconference winner over host Santa Barbara City College

Thursday night, as Lauren Murray poured in 25 points and had eight

rebounds to pave the way.

Nancy Hatsushi added 14 points for the Pirates, who pulled away in

the second half after a 26-25 halftime edge.

The victory improves Coast’s record to 3-1. The Pirates are at

Cerritos Nov. 22 in their next nonconference matchup.
