CdM rolls at NorCal

Corona del Mar High’s boys water polo team posted two convincing

victories in first-day action at the NorCal Invitational Friday at

Bellarmine Prep, dusting off Davis, 13-2, then punishing the host

Bells, 14-7, to move on to today’s semifinals in San Jose.

John Mann scored seven goals and Artie Dorr four goals as CdM

built an 11-1 halftime lead over Davis.

A dozen steals and Mann’s eight goals were far too much for

Bellarmine Prep to deal with. Seven third-quarter CdM goals broke it

open.
