UCI women ninth in Hawaii
Led by sophomore Stella Lee’s 21st-place finish, the UC Irvine
women’s golf team finished ninth out of 17 teams at the three-round
Kent Youel Invitational at the Kapolei Golf Course.
The Anteaters shot 305 Wednesday and shot 924 (315-304-305) for
the three rounds. UC Berkeley took first with 870 followed by UCLA’s
888.
Lee carded a 76-73-76--225. Freshman Angela Won shot the low round
Wednesday with a 74 and placed 26th overall with a 227 (78-75-74).
Freshman Sarah Huber was 55th with (236-81-76--79) followed by
sophomore Shelly Raworth (238-80-80--78) and junior Channing Lovejoy
(246-86-83--77).
UC Irvine closes out the fall schedule by traveling to the UNLV
Invitational, Nov. 11-13.
