Maggiano’s Little Italy in Costa Mesa has named James Woodfork

executive chef. Woodfork, who began overseeing the restaurant’s

culinary operations in late September, will be responsible for

managing the 46-person food preparation staff, working with the

restaurant’s executive chefs nationwide to create new menu items and

overseeing food costs and inventory control over the 300-seat

restaurant.... Adam D. Antonini graduated from the Army Reserve

Officer Training Corps National Advanced Leadership Camp at Fort

Lewis in Tacoma , Wash. At the camp, Antonini, the son of David M.

and Susan F. Antonini of Costa Mesa, received professional training

and was evaluated in the aspects of camp life, administration and

logistical support to determine his potential as an officer

....Anthony C. Duffy announced the opening of The Duffy Law Firm in

Newport Beach earlier this month. Duffy, who has more than 30 years

of experience and an extensive and diverse background, was a partner

in the Newport Beach office of McDermott, Will and Emery. His new

firm will focus on providing clients with expert legal counsel and

representation in corporate, real estate, securities, intellectual

property, environmental and other complex business litigation

disputes ....Robbins Jorgensen Christopher, a multidisciplinary

design firm in Newport Beach, has added eight new staff members to

its team. Steve Collins, Doug Brown, Scott Sandin, Greg Roberson,

Juan Silva, Glenn Miller, Jason Grier and Elizabeth Fragosa have

joined the firm to work in a variety of capacities. The firm, which

is an architecture, landscape architecture, interiors and program

management firm, has as clients John Wayne Airport, the city of

Newport Beach, the city of Coronado, the Palm Desert Redevelopment

Agency and the city of Long Beach ....The Peterson Group has

appointed Mark Hayes senior graphic designer. Hayes has more than

seven years’ experience in national and international art direction

and graphic design. In his new position, Hayes will be responsible

for creating design solutions, including corporate branding, direct

marketing programs, package design, brochure design and the creation

of Web graphics for client marketing programs, collateral and

multimedia projects. The Peterson Group is an 11-year-old

full-service marketing communications agency headquartered in Newport

Beach ....Cherri Penne-Myers of Newport Beach completed physician

assistant training at Charles R. Drew University, Los Angeles. She

presented her research on domestic violence training at the National

Conference on Health Care and Domestic Violence in Atlanta, Ga., last

month and served as a grant coordinator for a physician assistant

family violence training program this month.
