The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each
day at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if
desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or
hot entree. School lunches are $2 each. Here’s what’s being served
this week:
TODAY
Munchable Lunch Salad with fruit yogurt or chicken patty sandwich
on a bun, jicama sticks with ranch dip, frozen 100% fruit juice bar,
choice of milk
WEDNESDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or pasta with marinara sauce and meatballs,
fresh baked whole grain roll, crisp green salad with ranch dressing,
choice of fruit juice, choice of milk
THURSDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or taco chalupa, baby carrots with ranch
dip, choice of fruit and milk
FRIDAY
Staff Development -- No School
MONDAY
Munchable Lunch Salad or bean and cheese burrito, veggie sticks
with ranch dip, choice of fruit, choice of milk
* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry
tomatoes, crackers, protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds,
fruit yogurt and honey-roasted peanuts, and dressing.
