Breakers boys’ water polo No. 7

Two Laguna Beach High athletic teams hold down Top 10 rankings in

the latest CIF Southern Section fall sports polls released Tuesday.

The Breakers’ girls’ tennis team, which took on Corona del Mar on

Tuesday in a key Pacific Coast League match, was ranked eighth in

Division I.

Corona del Mar was ranked one spot ahead of the Breakers at No. 7.

Laguna Beach’s boys’ water polo team, despite dropping recent

matches to highly rated teams in Corona del Mar and Newport Harbor,

came in at No. 7 in the Division I poll.

Corona del Mar, the Breakers’ chief Pacific Coast League rival,

was ranked third in the division. Newport Harbor, meanwhile, was

rated fourth.
