Swede Jensen
A burial at sea will be held for Capt. Swede Jensen, a Pearl
Harbor survivor and founder of the Maritime Training School in
Newport Beach, at 9 a.m. Saturday in front of the U.S. Coast Guard
station in Corona del Mar. Mr. Jensen died Aug. 9. He was 86. The
World War II veteran had been married 15 times in his life.
Thomas Watson Wallace III
No services will be held for Thomas Watson Wallace III, a former
longtime Costa Mesa resident. Mr. Wallace died Oct. 15. He was 68. He
is survived by son Donald; daughters Judith Wytcherley, Cheryl Meier,
Yvonne Katsinis; sister Bette Pimental; brother Phil Wallace; and
seven grandchildren.
Martha R. Myhres
A memorial service will be held for 60-year Costa Mesa resident
Martha R. Myhres at noon Friday at Pacific View Mortuary Chapel. Mrs.
Myhres died Oct. 15 of pneumonia. She was 82. She is survived by
husband Ralph K. Myhres.
Donna Hope Wagner
Services for Donna Hope Wagner, a 28-year Newport Beach resident,
will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal
Church in Corona del Mar. Mrs. Wagner died Saturday of colon cancer.
She was 58. She is survived by husband Charles A. Wagner; sons James
Wagner and Charles Wagner III; daughter Cynthia Wagner; father James
Bentley; and three grandchildren.
