Something wicker this way comes
For the past 30 years, Shores Interiors has offered interior
design for homes, yachts and offices. A new re-vamping of its
showroom features a tropical island setting and casual California
furnishings. There’s a big selection of wicker, rattan, upholstery,
unusual lamps, pillows, trays and popular woven shades.
The store is at 2640 Avon St., Newport Beach. Call (949) 642-2255.
SPOOKY STUFF
As always, Roger’s Gardens has the best in Halloween decor. Each
year they go all out: shaking boxes, scary skeletons and moving
spiders. Their decor is high end, but worth it.
I love the real-looking crows, the candles, table-top items,
placemats, furry spiders and over-sized rats. Of course, everything
is discounted after Halloween, but then the best might be gone.
Special Halloween ornaments by Christopher Radko and Larry Fraga are
also available.
Roger’s Gardens is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. It is at 2301
San Joaquin Hills Road, Newport Beach. Call (949) 640-5800 or check
out www.rogersgardens.com.

will be shown through Thursday.
Cocktail and evening collections from Badgley Mischka, Carmen Marc
Valvo, Michael Casey and more will be shown. On Saturday, there will
be refreshments and informal modeling. Call (949) 759-1900.

J. CREW STYLE
J. Crew offers classic styles combined with modern design for men
and women. The selection of blazers, classic suiting, chinos, pants,

The prices are unbelievable, and they have great sales.
Unfortunately, the quality is sometimes disappointing.
Sign up for J. Crew’s Family and Friends promotion and get invited
to two private sales a year. If you order out of the catalog in the
store, you’ll get free shipping.
