reported at 3:10 a.m. Monday.
* Fairview Road: A traffic accident involving an injury was
reported in the 3300 block at 11:23 a.m. Monday.
* Harbor and MacArthur boulevards: A hit-and-run was reported at
12:30 p.m. Monday.
* Marigold Circle: Petty theft from a vehicle was reported in the
3300 block at 12:56 p.m. Monday.
* Peterson Place: Vandalism was reported in the 2700 block at
7:56 a.m. Monday.
* Placentia Avenue: A hit-and-run was reported in the 1700 block
at 3:10 a.m. Monday.
* Vanguard Way: A garage burglary was reported in the 2200 block
at 12:42 p.m. Monday.
* West 19th Street: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 600
block at 1:13 p.m. Monday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Dolphin Terrace: Tools worth about $4,450 were reported stolen
from a residence under construction in the 1100 block at 9:30 a.m.
Monday.
* Marine Avenue: A break-in was reported at St. John Vianney
Chapel in the 300 block at 9:01 a.m. Monday. No property was reported
missing.
* Newport Center Drive: Several items worth more than $40,000 --
including watches, perfume and a gold and silver card case said to
have been a gift from the Shah of Iran -- were reported stolen from a
locker at the Four Seasons Hotel at 7:55 p.m. Monday.
* Superior Avenue: Someone reportedly stole a wallet from a woman
after asking her for help with an ATM in the 300 block at 2:45 p.m.
