Baseball Golf Classic slated for Oct. 28

The Vanguard University baseball team will host its 6th annual

Baseball Golf Classic, Oct. 28 at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club. The

tournament is open to the first 144 players and the funds raised will

go to the Lions’ baseball team and Vanguard’s athletic department.

Check-in for the event begins at 9 a.m. and will be followed by a

putting contest at 9:30. The tournament will feature a shotgun start

at 10:30, prizes given throughout the day and awards for the top

three teams. An awards dinner and raffle will complete the day at

4:30 p.m.

Fees for the tournament begin at $175 per player (includes awards

dinner) with the possibility of building sponsorship packages for 2-4

players ranging from $350 to $1,500.
