NJB basketball signups continue this month

Signups for the Newport-Mesa National Junior Basketball 2002-03

season have begun and will continue later this month.

Interested players can signup either online at www.nmnjbl.org or

by going to Lincoln Elementary or Ensign Middle schools Saturday

(Sept. 14) or Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

NJB season begins in November and runs through March.

Tryouts for fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth-grade boys and

eighth-grade girls All-Net traveling teams will be Sept. 29 at a time

to be announced.

The All-Net traveling teams are for “All-Star” caliber players

that will represent Newport-Mesa against other cities in Southern

California.
