Used Cars saws up Ganahl Lumber, 12-2

Mike McKenzie racked up six hits and Micah Stovall had five to
account for 11 of the 25 hits Used Cars came up with Tuesday night to
produce a 12-2 victory over Ganahl Lumber in the city of Laguna Beach
Men’s Summer 16” Slow Pitch Softball Program.
McKenzie hit a home run, added five singles and drove in four runs
at Riddle Field.
Stovall, meanwhile, also homered and added a double and a trio of
singles.
In addition, Stovall was the winning pitcher for Used Cars (3-4)
as he gave up just six hits to Ganahl Lumber (4-2-1).
In other games:
Island Shade 11, Sandpiper 5
Sandpiper had its perfect season come to an end at the hands of
Island Shade.
Tom Taylor smacked a pair of home runs for Island Shade, now 4-3.
Ryan Neptune hit a home run and single. Mickey Allen and Steve
Lafferty each singled three times for Sandpiper, which fell to 6-1
but still remains in first place.
Team Viagra 16, Good, Bad and Ugly 7
Team Viagra collected its first victory of the season behind the
hitting of lead-off batter Dave Brobeck, who drove in six runs on two
home runs and a single.
Keith Mulvaney also dinged a pair of homers and doubled twice with
three RBIs for the winners, now 1-7. Nate Pivaroff joined the home
run derby with two, singled, walked and collected three RBIs, and Tom
Davis added three singles to Team Viagra’s 20-hit attack.
Mark Brock hit a three-run home run and John Mallet hit a solo
home run, each in the first inning, and Greg Keil and Tom Bismis each
homered for Good, Bad and Ugly (3-4-1).
