Ganahl Lumber holds off Island Shade, 3-2

Ganahl Lumber took over sole possession of second place in the

Tuesday League standings of the city of Laguna Beach Summer 16

Softball by holding off Island Shade on Tuesday night, 3-2, at Riddle

Field.

The victory puts Ganahl Lumber’s record at 3-1-1 and 1 1/2 games

behind league-leading Sandpiper, which is undefeated at 4-0.

Sandpiper’s fourth victory in league play came at the expense of

Good, Bad and Ugly, which dropped a 13-2 game on Tuesday.

Tuesday’s loss to Ganahl Lumber dropped Island Shade to 2-2.
